A little about me........

My first design was a piece of driftwood that I had found when I was about 6 years old at my grandparents cottage (called Ceder Haven) near Ferndale, Ontario. I gathered some wild flowers and plunked them into a hole in the center then found some string (in Grandpa s wood/tool shed) and gave it to my Mom.......she still has that little piece of driftwood hanging up on the door!

The next project (again up at the cottage) was to paint flat rocks, large ones and sell them for door stoppers to make a little extra money so I could go to the Sunshine Variety Store and purchase, my favorites, Black Cat Gum, real Juicy Fruit Strip gum and Pink Elephant Pop Corn with the best prize ever! Ahhhhh those where the lovely days of summer!

I moved around a lot, lived in Red Lake then to Wawa, Ontario and had two beautiful daughters then back to my home town of Sarnia, rented a house and it had a huge garage at the back of the property. I opened a home based business called "Patricia Natural Harvest", where I grew and dried my own herbs and flowers which I made into teas and quick fixes, wreaths and topiary and sold at different venues.

Being settled again (does that ever happen) I met and married a wonderful man and 3 years ago I started making gift baskets. Yes I did take over the Men Cave, sorry honey! With working in the catering business and artistic, self taught, experience (my Father is an artist in acrylics, my Mother a wonderful sewer and excellent organizer, the list goes on for her and my brother loves to work with wood) I feel that I have combined both of my talents to create One of a Kind Gift Baskets!
